Goodnight newspapers. Goodnight tv. Goodnight magazines. Goodnight radio sleeze. The old lady is whispering hush because the internet is now the primary medium.

How could the internet not become the primary medium? All the other mediums are passive forms of media where someone chooses what content is available and then spoon feeds it to us as they please.

The internet is an open and active medium where we choose the when, what, where, and how.

Will there be televisions in the future? Sure, but they will be connected to the internet instead of being fed by a monopoly cable company offering only a few channels.

This is why I am building my business and life online. The internet is where everything in the future will be. I want to be as knowledgeable about the internet as possible. I want to build my branded domains as much as possible even though I'm not sure how this will all work out or where the next technology jump will take my sites.

The internet is the primary medium and it is the focus of my life right now. I think it is a pretty good bet.

I completely agree. It is motivating to read a post like this.

The only problem is that this digital medium we call the internet continues to change. Yes, I want to be building a business on the internet because this is where everything in the future will be, but what will this medium look like in the future?

I started to get nervous when everyone started to access the internet with mobile devices. I realize that mobile devices are great for some sites and information, but many people are still using computers to access sites like mine.

Now I am nervous about what will happen when people can access the internet on their telveision sets. I suppose it will be similar with a larger screen, but maybe video will be far more important than text?

I'm really happy with the ipad and other tablet devices. It allows people to have access to the internet with an easier to carry device.

All of this is still good news. People are getting access to the internet in lots of different ways. It just gives me pause because things will continue to change and I hope my sites can keep up.
