Learn How To Do Business Online

I had a nice boost in traffic and revenue yesterday. I was hoping it was a new Google ranking sending free traffic, but it was just a boost in traffic from the normal sources.

Saturday's are usually my worst day of the week. There must have been a lot of people spending some time online on the first day after Christmas. Looking for deals and moving on to the next purchase decisions after the holiday.

I went to bed last night not knowing why my revenue went up. I only had time to see the revenue stats, but didn't have time to look at my stats program. This means I went to bed thinking that maybe there was a new keyword sending traffic and maybe the higher revenue would be repeated on a daily basis. Especially in higher amounts since Saturday is usually my worst day.

I laid in bed last night excited and thinking about what I would do if I saw higher revenue every day like the revenue I had yesterday. It is really easy to get excited about online revenues and more often than not, it ends in disappointment.

It sucks to find out today that it wasn't a new Google search ranking on a good keyword, but it is always nice to have an unexpected boost in revenue for a day. We'll see how today goes.

Congrats Paul. Too bad it wasn't a new Google keyword sending traffic. That is always awesome when that happens. I love the free traffic when it comes my way.

Just beware that the post holiday bump is usually short lived as people are still off for their holiday vacations and looking for after Christmas deals. Unless you are in a market that usually sees a post holiday bump like flowers and jewelry as Valentines Day is around the corner.

Good luck with your efforts.
