I'm writing this blog post as a reminder to myself that I need to sell something. I have a few sites that focus on generating advertising revenue, but I need to start a few shopping sites to focus on selling something.

This thought especially occurs to me at this time of year when online sales are roaring to life.

I have a really good domain name for a general shopping site, but I have been holding off on launching the site until I find the perfect technology partner. I built a shopping site in the past where I added and updated all of the links, but it was a pain.

I like the new tools like GoldenCan that allow people to make a shopping site powered by someone else's technology, but I think the technology and presentation will get better.

In the mean time, I should probably start a shopping blog of some sort just to get into the game.

I really need to start selling something if I plan to remain in the world of online business.
