Making money online is not easy. There are many times when it sounds like a good idea to stop putting in so much time making and promoting sites. Hoever, the goal of making money online is such a good goal, it has the power to keep me going.

Whenever I feel like giving up or working on my sites less, I just have to think about what it would be like to make lots of money online. I think about going on vacations and logging in from an internet cafe to see lots of sales and ad revenue happening while I soak in the sun or visit the places I want to visit.

It is not too hard ti imagine this type of success because some poeple are already experiencing it. The cover story from Inc Magazine this month is the owner of a free online dating site. He is a technical genius who built a fairly good dating site and now works about an hour a day to check his stats and make a few adjustments. Can you even imagine? He pays himself about $5 million dollars a month. He went on a month long yacht charter vacation with his girlfriend and four of her friends.

I don't need $5 million a year. It would be nice, but my goal is a modest $75,000 per year in internet income. Some of it is hard work in building and promoting a good site. SOme of it is luck in getting good Google rankings or a mention in some highly read blog or publication.

Whatever it takes, I am willing to work hard to get there. I figure the internet will conitnue to improve in terms of the technology, users, and revenue models. I will continue to build and promote my sites.

In order to do the work each day, I must keep the goal in focus. I am bound and determined to make money online.
