We all need to start thinking about Siri.

Siri is the voice activated virtual assitant on the iphone.

You can ask Siri for the cheapest flight from Madison to New York and she responds very quickly with all of the details.  She then asks you if you want to book the flight.

The "old" process involved a search engine, a travel site and a ticket purchased through one of many travel agencies.  The "new" process will just be Siri.

Disruptions from new technology are happening so fast that even the new way of doing things are already going out of style.

How is one to build a business in this fast moving digital world?  Many people tried to make money in the Google era by typing in tons of information and attracting searchers. 

How will people be able to do business in the age of Siri?

Siri will be the source of most information.  She will grow in intelligence to be able to answer (and do) pretty much anything.

Being a source of information in the digital world will not hold very much value.

Many of us are screwed.

We can continue to build our businesses, but we need to make sure we know what type of world we will soon be operating within.
