Well, I just got a message from Ning saying they won't be fixing a bug in their system until April 9th. This is bad news because they had originally told me a couple of months ago it would be fixed this month.

The bug is causing the "created by" box to rise above the right column premium ads whenever featured changes are made to a network.

This means anyone with the premium ads service must either deal with the ads no longer being "premium" or they have to pay the extra money to remove the created by box.

I have been cancelling my premium ad service on most of my networks. I don't make much money with it right now anyway so I figure I might as well skip the testing for now and just focus on building content.

I could easily pay the extra few bucks to remove the "created by" box, but I guess I have a problem with falling for what seems to be a bait and switch marketing tactic. I shouldn't have to pay more money to get the service I am already paying for.
