I used to work for a technology company as an inside sales rep making and receiving phone calls. I'm thinking about getting a new job. I'm trying to decide if I should open my job search to outside sales positions.

I guess the biggest drawback is that I would have to care about my personal appearance and I would actually have to travel to customer locations. Because of this, the money would have to be significantly better for me to consider an outside sales job.

Any suggestions for me while I make this decision?
