StoresOnline.com has been doing presentations and training seminars for a website builder package that costs close to $4,000 per year.

Has anyone gone to their presentations or used their website builder?

I went to the initial presentation, but didn't go to the day long training seminar.

They basically are selling an expensive web hosting package.

I think they have a genuine interest in teaching people how to succeed on the internet so their sites will do well and they will renew their website hosting package each year.

The problem is that a lot of people will invest in a website and then won't do the work to make it successful.

Also, even if a person learns as much as they can about how to succeed online, it doesn't mean they will find success. The internet is a very complicated and competitve marketing medium so success can't be guaranteed.

Also, I think there are many less expensive ways to get involved with the internet.
OK, I went to the day long seminar the other day to check it out. The tools they provide are very good, but they are all tools and tutorial you can find online for free.

The website builder looks good, but it is a huge set-up/license fee and then it costs $30 a month to keep your website going. The people at the seminar didn't seem to have a lot (or any) website experience so I felt bad for them when they all started making their purchases. They will be saddled with huge costs without having the knowledge or experience to make their websites profitable. I doubt many of them will keep with the effort long enough to see positive results. A few of them will and so it will turn out to be a good investment, but as they say during their sales presentation - "results are not typical"
Now they are using a robocaller machine to ring my phone a few times a day. I finally answered the call and asked them to stop calling.
